Apple iPhone 14: Things that we need to know
Apple iPhone 14 Lockdown Mode Feature is one thing that makes the phone worth waiting and extra special too.
Apple’s Lockdown Mode Feature
One of the most amazing reasons for owning an apple iPhone is the security it ensures. It is been years since Apple has been constantly upgrading its privacy and security settings by introducing some or the new feature. It is because of such features experts think help Apple differentiates itself and hold an edge over their rival, Samsung, at least in this department.
With the incoming of yet another security feature known as Lockdown Mode, Apple is following through on its promise to its users that everything that is saved in their devices will stay in their devices.
What does the Apple Lockdown Mode do ?
Apple’s Lockdown Mode feature blocks links previously in the messages app, turning off any hackable web browsing technologies, and stopping any incoming FaceTime calls from unknown numbers, according to USA Today.
Once you enable the Lockdown Mode, Apple devices will not even accept accessory connections unless the device is properly unlocked.
There are roughly around 2 billion active users of Apple devices but out of them only few would be able use the feature, according to Apple. However, some cybersecurity experts think that these need to be common to every single Apple user so that we can move one step closer towards making hacking a thing of yesterday.
In early July, the FBI and UK’s MI5 intelligence organization issued a joint warning of the threat that Chinese spies pose to the economic and national security of both countries.
The FBI and MI5 also revealed that China’s hacking program is “bigger than that of the other countries combined.”
Other government agencies have warned about hacking coming from some other formidable countries, including Russia, which the United States Office of the Director of National Intelligence warned back in 2017 has targeted think tanks and lobbying groups aside from the government and political parties.
Apple and Privacy
Much of Apple’s approach to cybersecurity can be tracked back to 2010, when the co-founder of the company, Steve Jobs, talked about his view of privacy on stage at the D8 conference.
Jobs said privacy means “people know what they are signing up for.” He added that it is important for companies to let the customers “know precisely what you are going to do.”
Will Apple increase the price for iPhone 14 Series ?
The next iPhone has been promised to have some major upgrades in terms of its design and features, which makes it very likely to be very expensive. Not that previous iPhones were cheap or affordable for everyone, yet Apple does have plans of increasing the price for their new device.
Apple iPhone is a state-of-the-art smartphone that promises to bring together all the important features that one expects to have in a top-of-the line smartphone, especially in terms of camera, storage ad battery.
If the basic version is able to contain up to 128 GB of data, the pro and pro max models are, for their part, much more powerful.
As far as the storage is concerned, unlike the cheaper version, these can store up to 1 TB of files.
But that is not it, the competition may become even more stiff as the Apple iPhone 14 would be more durable than ever.
Thus, the contours of the smartphone are made of stainless steel or aluminum depending on the model chosen. In addition, a small novelty has emerged at the level of the True Depth camera.
This is a special notch put in place for the purpose of protect the Face ID tool in the event of a fall. But beware ! This new feature will no longer be used on future iPhones.
One thing people were spectacle about was the removal of the big Apple notch and its effect on the Face id privacy of the phone. However, it is expected that Face ID should be directly integrated into the screen. An idea that is getting closer and closer to Steve Jobs’ vision of its creation.
After all of this it won’t be wrong to suggest that this ne Apple iPhone is going to go hard on your pocket.
Recently, Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives explained that the Apple iPhone 14 might cost $100 more than its predecessor.
