Dead Space Remake Official Game Trailer Analysis
The teaser of the follows the protagonist of the game who goes by the name, Isaac Clarke. The trailer shows him navigating the echoing corridors and workspaces in the mining ship, USG Ishimura, where something terribly wrong has happened. He is shown sidling around the vessel to investigate the situation while fighting off any Necromorphs that come into his seemingly treacherous path.
The new 2023 version of Dead Space is a an upscaled remake of the 2008 original. The remake game begins when Isaac Clarke who is an engineer is dispatched on a repair mission aboard the USG Ishimura, where he realizes that something is just not right and there is something wrong with the place. He must fight and escape that place which swarming with monstrous creatures called Necromorphs. And he has to do all of it using his engineering tools.
The original was one of the best survival horror games ever made, in my opinion, and this new version adds modern graphics and a lot more as well. This new version of Dead Space features an expanded story line, plus modernized graphics, audio, and gameplay.
The remake features a new damage system called peeling, which enables players to shoot through the flesh off of those creatures and rip them off. It’s a scrumptious visual treat. Not only this, but as a player also you will have to careful as, because if you did not notice, then Isaac Clarke’s spine-mounted lights, would deplete as the user would take damage from the deadly monsters.
As per the developers Dead Space has been reinvented from the ground up in EA’s Frostbite engine. The director of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Eric Baptizat has been at the helm alongside creative director Roman Campos-Oriola, who previously promised “all new assets, new character models, [and] new environments” based on the original game designs. This game surely creates a lot of promises.
The game’s developers turned to diehard fans to help keep them on track in offering all-new gameplay content and improvements while staying faithful to the vision of the original game. The remake team consulted with their very own community council every six weeks to get their opinions on a variety of “polarizing” topics during the project’s development.
