E3 2021: All Updates from The Biggest Gaming Event
E3 2021 is over and we have to agree on one thing, the event had so much to offer. There were revelations of some new Video Games by popular publishers like Ubisoft, Microsoft, Square Enix , Bethesda and more. However, what drew the attention of most people at the showcase was Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy, by Eidos Montreal.
Here, are some major updates from Square Enix E3 2021 Conference.

Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy at last has been revealed by Eidos Montreal at E3 2021. It’s a single-player adventure game, where we play as Star Lord with a third person perspective. Apart from that, the trailer suggests that it has a strong narrative. The studio has avoided taking inspiration from MCU movie on Guardians of the Galaxy. People will be experiencing the same beginning and end, but the game is likely to offer various decision-based variations. As Star Lord the players will also be able to command and guide the other Guardians during combat at the touch of a button, calling on specific moves from Gamora, Groot, Rocket, or Drax.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Avatar is here, and for those who were expecting a movie, this game trailer may not be such a disappointment as it is not less than any movie. In fact, it is better than a movie in more than one way. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora by Ubisoft is a 2022 game developed by Massive Entertainment, the creators of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. It is going to be an action adventure game, with third-person perspective made exclusively for next-generation consoles and PC. Players will play as Na’vi and explore a never-before-seen part of Pandora.
Starfield
Finally, in 25 years a new game series is being created by Bethesda Game Studios, the creators of ‘Fallout‘ and ‘Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim‘ . In Starfield, Players will have the freedom to create any character they want and explore space. “It’s an epic about hope, our shared humanity and answering our greatest mystery,” said Bethesda Games Studios’ Todd Howard.
Halo Infinite
Many people were expecting Halo Infinite to launch last year in November along with new Xbox Series X and S consoles. However, Microsoft and studio 343 Industries postponed the release of new Halo game. The game is due this holiday season, marking 20th anniversary of the launch of the first Xbox and “Halo: Combat Evolved“.
A bit of cinematic-quality footage from the game shown during Microsoft’s Xbox showcase showed main character Master Chief making his way through wreckage to meet a new artificial intelligence companion who apparently will replace Cortana. The mystery of his original AI’s whereabouts will apparently be part of this next installment’s mystery. Beyond the story campaign, the game will also have free online multiplayer.
Marvel’s Avengers Black Panther DLC
King T’Challa is arriving in Marvel’s Avengers later this year as part of the free War for Wakanda expansion. Watching new trailer and the Black Panther in action and a look at the game’s version of Wakanda, we are pretty certain, that the game is going to be a visually appealing one, with fantastic set pieces and sequences. However, no final release date for this highly anticipated DLC has been revealed.
Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier
A glimpse of Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier was shown during Square Enix’s E3 2021 presentation. If you’re someone who has never played any Final Fantasy game, then for your information, it’s a spin-off set 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy 7, in which Shinra hosts SOLDIER tryouts to see who gets to enrolled in their program. The gameplay gameplay and combat involves swords, guns, magic, summons, and more to emerge victorious in this battle royal game. The First Soldier is launching later this year on mobile devices.
Babylon’s Fall
Babylon’s Fall will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will also now be a live service title, and regular updates will be made by Platinum Games allowing the addition of new moves. Character customization and crafting will also be majorly important in the game. Just like Black Panther, this game also doesn’t have a confirmed release date.
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows
Another title by Square Enix Montreal, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows comes will introduce you to entirely new world of Hitman. A Team of snipers called Initiative 426, including characters like, Soji, Kiya, Kolzak, Knight, and Stone. It also features the Diana Burnwoord but it’s mentioned this is based after the disappearance of Agent 47.
Similar to the Sniper Assassin mode of Hitman 2, you will be tasked with eliminating targets with nothing but a sniper. Hitman Sniper: The Shadows is going to be a mobile exclusive, coming to iOS and Android as a free-to-play title later this year.
Elden Ring
One should not be surprised with the hype around Elden Ring. By bringing together the creative talents of Gorge R.R. Martin, the author of the Game of Thrones series, and Hidetaka Miyazaki, who has shown his brilliance in games like “Dark Souls” and “Bloodborne.” It will be a role-playing game. Publisher Bandai Namco says the game will feature a “vast and seamless landscape” with natural weather and time-of-day progression. And if it’s anything like the studio’s earlier games, expect it to deliver a challenge.
Redfall
If you have been a fan of movies like the ‘Blade Series‘ and ‘Abraham Lincoln: The Vampire Hunter‘, there are high probabilities of you liking this game. Redfall features Four main characters where you’ll play as one and three friends could join in. Going by the trailer, Massachusetts town is being invaded by some super vampires and has a strange cult which is growing in power. The action– from the developers behind “Prey” and “Dishonored” – frenetic, with flying superpowered vampires who can appear and disappear at will. Coming to Xbox Series X/S and PCs in Summer 2022.
