Just Cause: Mobile Announced for Smartphones in 2021

Just Cause: Mobile has been announced by Square Enix. The developers of the game have confirmed that they will bring the Just Cause franchise to mobile devices in 2021.

Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad- Military RPG, was the last major AAA game that made it to the mobile universe. However, the most popular of them all is the Call of Duty: Mobile, that was launched last year, and gave players a PUBG Mobile like experience, but in a third person perspective with different gameplay modes, weapons, attires and accessories.

The last Just Cause game was launched in 2018, which offered a very interactive and immersive open world experience.

Now Square Enix has decided to give a similar kind of experience to mobile gamers by bring the franchise to the world of smartphones. The developers announced that Just Cause will be coming to Android and iOS devices in 2021 at the Video Game Awards hosted recently.

Unlike the PC, PS4 AND Xbox version, Just Cause: Mobile, is completely developed and created by Square Enix, which is based on Unreal Engine 4 gaming engine and will be freely available to all the players. The game will have in-game items to purchase, a concept which is most common in most of the games these days. Unlike the PC and the console version, the mobile version will be quiet similar and in-line with most of the online multiplayer mobile shooting games that we have seen for a very long time, and does not promise to give a GTA kind of experience.

Up to 30 players will be able to play the online multiplayer mode of the game, whereas the co-op multiplayer shall allow teams of 4 members each to play.

A gameplay trailer has been released online, giving us a sneak peek of what to expect from the game.

By the looks of the gameplay in the trailer, the game seems to be set in the same Just Cause universe, just like its PC and Console versions, where players can expect those same massive explosions and crazy combat. Players will engage in combats and fights with other players, and may also use different guns and weapons along with various other gadgets and accessories at their disposal such as, parachutes and helicopters.

Apart from all of this, not many details of the game have been revealed by the developers. Square Enix says, that more details on the game and its release date will revealed by them on their official social media channels.
