KFCONSOLE: A Gaming Console or A Chicken Warmer ?

KFConsole has been revealed by KFC Gaming at last.

Just when we thought nothing more unusual could happen this year. KFC revealed its very first gaming console, which is also a chicken warmer, about which we’ll discuss in the end.

KFC had first released a trailer of the KFC console back in June. After watching that trailer most people had one question in mind, Is the KFConsole real ?

And at first, most of us laughed it off and thought it is just a joke. But now it has turned out to be absolutely real. KFC has teamed up with Cooler Master and launched a gaming console called KFConsole, which rivals Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X.

On December 11, 2020, KFC Gaming posted a note on their social media handles, stating the delay of the launch of their KFC console till December 18, 2020.

Later, they came up another series of posts showing the countdown to the launch of the KFConsole, up until it got finally revealed two days ago.

The complete specifications of the new Kfc video game console is still a mystery, but what we know about this all new KFConsole is that, it has an Intel Nuc 9 CPU, two Seagate Barracuda @ 1TB SSD, and also “Ray Tracing” as marketed by Cooler Master. Cooler Master also stated that it has, “a first of its kind hot swappable GPU slot” for easy upgrades. Furthermore, this all new KFC console can run games with 4K resolution at 240fps.

But the highlight of the all new KFConsole is that, it is the world’s first console to have a built-in chicken chamber, which is pretty epic. Apparently, this chicken chamber is a removable tray that you can stick chicken fingers in. Utilizing the systems natural heat and airflow system, you can now focus on your gameplay and enjoy hot, crispy chicken between rounds.

“Moving forward from our initial teaser campaign earlier this year, we’re so pleased to finally give the fans exactly what they wanted; making the KFConsole a reality,” said KFC PR boss Mark Cheevers. “We all know the console war is vicious, but we’re very confident in the KFConsole as our flagship entry. This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience… what’s not to like? If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they’d be welcome to get in touch.”

The price and release date of the KFConsole has not yet been unveiled, but if its priced somewhere close to Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X, then these two consoles are going to have a pretty hard time.
