Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod brings back Mexico to the Game
Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod has given a new life to the inaccessible Mexico map of the first installment of the franchise, Red Dead Redemption.
If you wish to explore and experience the Mexico map, which is already in Red Dead Redemption 2, however, not being accessible if you go by the conventional means, the mod pack brings together and amalgamates all enhancements to make this Mexican map a reality.
Initially, Fans were extremely disappointed with the inaccessibility of the Mexico map in Red Dead Redemption 2 despite it being a very integral location in the previous as far as the plot is concerned.
Some players have found themselves mysteriously spawned there in RDR2 Online, and a few exploits have led to the discovery of some crafty ways into the area. Aside from this, it is assumed by most that the area will eventually be utilised in an Online mode.
Modder Siemreaper has created a pack of all the best Red Dead Redemption 2 mod for Mexico map (thanks PC Gamer). This bundle pack constitutes work from modders RedMaxBR, SergeantJoe, AClassySliceOfToast and DuPz0r.
These mods range recreations of the locations from the original game, Red Dead Redemption to quality-of-life additions to get the player to Mexico quickly and easily. However, if you are looking for some quests in that area, that you won’t find them, but if you are someone who just wants to wander around and explore the place, you are in for a ride.
Previous popular mods have included the ability to buy property, and the ability to have pet dogs.
An amazing fact about the franchise is that many locations and a lot of contents in the first Red Dead Redemption was ported over to its sequel, or we could say at least on the American side of the border. But the Mexico map which is visible from a distance is missing in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Mexico was a huge part of the original Red Dead Redemption and had a huge contribution to the story of the game. It’s even weirder to think though that parts of Mexico already do exist in Red Dead Redemption 2, and some Red Dead Online players have even found themselves spawning there by random chance from time to time.
The pack makes the installation of the various mods easier to handle, although it does require you to install a few extras, such as Lenny’s Mod Loader and Script Hook for RDR2 to get it all working correctly.
Several settlements from the Red Dead 1 Mexico map have been restored here, and it’s great to explore around. That’s the limit of it right now though, with no missions or gameplay, and certainly no support for online, it’s more of curiosity right now. Still, I’ve found it really nostalgic to wander around and rediscover some classic locales from the original.
