The First Smartphone With Android 11, V20 OR Pixel 5?
Android 11 was officially launched by Google in early September, and Vivo V20 is going to become the first device to have the new version of Android pre-installed in it.
However, as of now, the new Android system is available as an upgrade to some of the Goggle pixel devices such as, 2, 3, 3a, 4 and 4a along with few other smartphones like, Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro, Oppo X2 and Oppo Reno 3, Realme X50 Pro and Xiomi M10 and M10 Pro.
Now, the game is about to change in the smartphone market, with the arrival of new devices with pre-installed Android 11.
Though, Google was supposed to be the first company to have pre-installed Android 11 with the launch of their upcoming pixel 4a and pixel 5, it has been surpassed and left behind by Vivo, with the arrival of their new smartphone, Vivo V20.
Where, Google pixel 4a and pixel 5, will not start shipping up until October 15, Vivo is going to launch their V20 on October 12, according to XDA Developers.

Some new features of Android 11:
Previously, if you had long-pressed the power button, it would have given you three options like, power off, refresh and emergency. Now, in Android 11, you get some other options, such as:
- Easy pay– If you have made a bank account favorite with Google Pay, it shall pop up for instant payment once you long press the power button.
- Smart Home controls- In case, you wish to control the appliances at your home, you may do that, provided you have connected your smartphone to your smart home.
2. Multimedia controls:
Now, the multimedia has become more accessible. You would be able to operate multimedia such as, music, YouTube, online streaming , etc, more easily because now the control of the ongoing multimedia will be given in the quick tile area, making the display slightly more enhanced.
Apart from that, you would also be able to make out the source of audio.
3. Chat Bubbles:
In order to make using text messages easier, the concept of chat bubbles has been re-introduced. Now, you would be able to access different chatting apps, such as, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, conventional SMS’s, etc, at the same time, provided that particular application supports the bubble feature, the notification of which will come up at the notification bar.
4. Notifications:
Android 11 has made the management of notifications easier, by introducing the grouping feature. Now, your Android 11 device may group all your conversations or notifications of the apps of similar nature into one group.
Furthermore, you could also prioritize or silent your app notifications, or just keep them on default.
Apart from that, you could also look into you notification history of last 24 hours.
5. Screen Recording:
Th screen recording along with audio recording has also been improved.
6. Permissions:
Previously, if an app was permitted to access the device’s multimedia or location, it would continue to hold that access. This time, the Android 11 has added the one time feature, where if you grant permission to an app, it may go to default once you close that app.
